Disc Chipper Blade Adjustment Method

I. Blade Adjustment

1. First, turn on the disc chipper, pull out the blade disc, and place it on a flat surface.
2. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the adjusting screws on the blade disc and adjust the blade position. It is recommended to adjust both sides to the same position first before fine-tuning.
3. Place the blade disc back into the disc chipper, turn off the machine, and start it up for a test cut.
4. Observe the test cut results. If you find that the chips are uneven or the cutting depth is too deep or too shallow, continue to fine-tune until the optimal state is achieved.
5. After adjusting the blade, perform a test cut again to ensure that the chips are uniform and the cutting depth is stable.

II. Dressing Disc Adjustment

1. Turn on the disc chipper and install the dressing tool on the machine spindle.
2. Place the dressing disc on the dressing tool and clamp it, then start the machine.
3. Press the tool clamping button to clamp the tool.
4. Use a dressing tool to smooth the disc surface, removing minor scratches for better chipping results.
5. After dressing, turn off the machine, remove the dressing tool and dressing disc, and restart the machine for a test run.
